The Aesthetic Meeting 2011, with the theme “Affirming the Science of Aesthetic Surgery” was held last May 6 to 11, 2011 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Organized by the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS)and the Aesthetic Surgery Education and Research Foundation (ASERF), this meeting is said to be the most important annual event in the field of cosmetic plastic surgery.
In this convention, the most recognized leaders in the field of cosmetic plastic surgery share their knowledge and expertise to attendees from all over the world.
One of the most interesting parts of this convention is “Global Hot Topics” which covers all the emerging trends from the United States and abroad.
The 4-day Scientific Program included various presentations focusing on the latest in cosmetic surgery. Cutting edge topics included enhanced breast surgery techniques such as 3d visualization, concepts in facial rejuvenation, updates on new soft tissue fillers, the latest on breast implants and many more interesting topics.
