The 16th ASEAN Congress of Plastic Surgery was recently held in the Boracay Regency Convention Center in Boracay, Philippines. With the theme "The Pearls of 30 Years", the congress lasted from March 11 until March 14, 2012.
The Congress was jointly organized and sponsored by the ASEAN Federation for Plastic Surgery, the Philippine Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, the International Association of Plastic Surgery and Operation Smile. Both Operation Smile and the ASEAN Federation for Plastic Surgery are celebrating their 30th year anniversaries this year.
